An old one and her daughter. The old woman did not need a man to conceive. Ahki, the earth, also like a woman. In this time trees and many animals had not yet been created. The daughter went out berry picking one day and when she was returning home a great gust of wind blew her skirt up,revealing her body to Geesis, the sun. The sun shone on that spot for a moment although the young woman hardly noticed the warmth. She straightened down her skirt and continued home with what was left of her berries.
Time passed and the young woman noticed her belly was getting bigger and there was something moving inside her. The young woman mentioned this to the old woman. I'm getting bigger and something is moving in me can you explain this. The old woman asked if she had met anyone No replied the girl the only thing that has happened to me was a gust of wind blew my skirt up for a second. Ahh said the old woman that was Geesi the sun is the only one who could of done this. You are going to be the Mother of a Sun Child.
The young woman gave birth to two sons, Manitos, supernaturals. They were the first human sons on the earth. Geesis sons Sons of the Sun.
The young mother put her sons in cradle boards and never let them touch the earth for months. If she had of they would of walked immediately and because it took the young mother so long to allow her sons to touch the earth it now takes human children a year before they walk this is why.
One of the twins was Stone boy he said " put me in the fire until I glow red. They did. Then he said pour water over me and they did .That was the first sweat bath.
The other son was Wene-boozhoo, he looked like all human boys. He grew up to be mighty and he could talk to all the animals and Wene-boozhoo, gave them their names.
